lostinamerica: How is it only Wednesday? I’ve already got my camping gear and slackline loaded into my car for the weekend. Now, I wait. I need to make some new playlists for my ipod, though. Any song suggestions? Nothing too slow paced. The Swell Season - “Feeling The Pull”

Neighborhoodr: Rochester
I just joined Neighborhoodr: Rochester! This is a site to help keep all of us who call Rochester home informed of the goings-on in our lovely city or to showcase all we have to offer to everyone else. Neighborhoodr is a great tumblr community started by Richard Blakeley and Anthony DeRosa and I hope the Rochester edition gets a lot of use. Follow it on Tumblr here!

Hopefully Getting a Community Garden Plot!
This is going to be so much better than my overzealous roof container garden. Obviously I won’t be able to make enough compost for the whole thing, but I have started saving kitchen scraps and am ordering earthworms this week for a little at-home compost. Has anyone else ever made compost in an apartment? Any tips?
